The BMW group showed off the Z4 series designed i collaboration with Italian coachbuilder Zagato over at the Concorso d'Eleganza event in Lake Como, Italy.

Even though the Z4 Zagato Coupe is a one-off model (for now), both BMW and Zagato officials made it a point to underline the fact that the long-hooded sports car is not only fully functional but also completely "road-legal".

The company did not reveal the powertrain motivating the cars, but it could be using BMW's 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six petrol engines, with either 320hp (306PS / sDrive35i) or 335hp (340PS / sDrive35is).
