This could very well be the prototype for one of the two upcoming AMG models for the next Mercedes-Benz S class codenamed W222. Even though with it's camouflage on, it does spot a resemblance of what we think it is.
The test model retains the exhaust pipes of the regular model, and also has a lowered chassis along with some other details like a new side skirt, larger alloy wheels in low profile tires and a covered rear diffuser and modified front bumper. Mercedes will offer two separate AMG variants of the S-Class.
The first is the S63 AMG with 5.5 liter twin turbocharged V8 with 530hp at 5,500rpm and 590 lb-ft from 2,000 to 4,500 rpm in standard trim and 556hp and 664 lb-ft when opted with it's performance package.
As for its flagship model, it will be the S65 AMG with 6.0 liter bi-turbocharged V12 engines with 621hp and 1,000Nm.
