Mitsubishi has begun its promotional campaign for the new Mirage in Japan, as a five door hatchback. We're not sure if we'll see this over here in KL though. Mitsubishi has also released several new videos detailing the Mirage.

The 3.7-meter long hatchback comes with a single engine option, a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder MIVEC gasoline engine coupled to a new version of Mitsubishi's CVT transmission that drives the front wheels and which returns an estimated fuel economy of up to 27.2 km/liter (equal to 64mpg US, 76.8mpg UK and 3.7lt/100km).

The Mirage is sold across Asia and will also become available in Europe, Australia and other markets around the world before the end of the year.
