The new Audi RS5 Cabriolet will be attending the Paris Auto Show. The open top version of the RS5 Coupe, the Cabriolet gets the same performance and mechanical upgrades which will include a 4.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 with 444hp and at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 430Nm between 4,000 to 6,000 rpm.

Mated with a seven speed S tronic dual clutch transmission and Audi's quattro permanent all wheel drive system, it can direct torque up to 70 percent to the front or a maximum of 85 percent to the rear. The Cabriolet is slightly slower because it's heavier and it completes a 0-100km/h sprint in 4.9 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.

The RS5 convertible's top that is electrically operated, opens and closes in 15 seconds and 17 seconds respectively at speeds of up to 50 km/h (31 mph).
